Dignitas, one of the most historic organizations in esports, announced a collaboration with Theta Labs, the leader in decentralized cloud infrastructure for AI and media. The partnership will bring Dignitas' beloved mascot to life as 'Digi,' an AI agent designed to serve the Dignitas community in two ways: as an always-on fan resource and as a live tournament source for DIGFort, Dignitas' 70,000+ grassroots competitive Fortnite Tournament server.

Built on Theta Network's decentralized GPU infrastructure and powered by the Theta Edge Network's 30,000 distributed nodes, Digi will transform how fans engage with the organization while completely revamping tournament administration.

'Digi' AI Agent Will Enhance Competition and Community

For competitors, Digi will transform the tournament experience. During DIGFort tournaments, players can query the AI agent for instant support. Digi will be trained to answer questions about rules, point systems, schedules, and procedures, acting as a dedicated, real-time virtual agent. This will streamline communication, reduce friction for players, and allow human administrators to focus on complex, high-level support, ensuring smoother and more efficient competitions.

Founded in 2003, Dignitas has captured 18 world championships across multiple gaming titles, including back-to-back RLCS World Championships in Rocket League and recent FNCS Major victories in Fortnite, establishing the organization as a consistent top-tier competitor in esports.

Dignitas' Discord server, serves as one of the largest fan community hubs in competitive esports. Beyond assisting in tournament administration, Digi will provide fans with immediate access to tournament information, player statistics, and team updates across all competitive titles for an audience that demands instant, accurate information about their favorite players and matches.

Backed by Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment since 2016, the same ownership group behind the Philadelphia 76ers, NHL's New Jersey Devils, and Crystal Palace FC, Dignitas operates with the resources and professionalism of traditional sports while maintaining the community-driven culture that has sustained them for over 20 years. The DIGFort tournament server's growth to over 70,000 members demonstrates the scale of grassroots engagement that makes Dignitas an ideal testing ground for AI-powered fan experiences.

Theta Network's EdgeCloud platform currently serves over 40 global customers, including Stanford University, four of the top five South Korean universities and professional sports teams such as the NBA's Houston Rockets and NHL's Las Vegas Knights. The addition of Dignitas represents Theta's continued expansion into esports organizations seeking advanced fan engagement solutions.

Digi is scheduled to launch July 23rd, with initial deployment focused on Discord integration and DIGFort tournament administration.
