Nuvve Introduced AI Forecasting Solution to Unlock Greater Battery Value and Grid Resilience

Nuvve Holding Corp. (“Nuvve” or the “Company”) (OTCQB Market: NVVE), a global leader in intelligent energy management and Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) technology, launched an AI-powered forecasting platform that helps battery operators and utilities better anticipate energy market conditions, optimize the use of stationary battery assets and strengthen grid resiliency. The platform is in production use across Nuvve’s own battery portfolio and with initial customers in Europe.

Nuvve’s proprietary AI technology analyzes and synthesizes a broad range of data, including energy market conditions, weather, grid activity, outages, telemetry, policy developments and other factors that influence energy supply, demand and pricing, to generate forecasts and actionable insights. The technology forecasts energy prices and identifies the most valuable opportunities to charge and discharge a battery over the coming days.

Nuvve’s AI forecasting platform provides a forward-looking view of those conditions, including:

  • Performance Benchmarking: Compare actual battery dispatch and revenue performance against the AI’s forecasted optimal strategy to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Continuous Intelligence: Monitor a wide range of market and external signals around the clock rather than relying solely on traditional forecasting models or individual analyst assessments.
  • Scenario Analysis: Allow operators to ask “what if” questions and assess how changes in conditions, including temperature, market conditions or other variables, could affect battery performance and potential revenue.
  • Explainable Insights: Provide visibility into the factors behind forecasts and recommendations, helping operators understand why the system is reaching a particular conclusion rather than treating AI as a black box.

Nuvve is also applying its AI capabilities to utility load forecasting, where anticipating changes in electricity demand is increasingly important as extreme weather, electrification, distributed energy resources and other factors place new demands on power grids.

The technology helps utilities forecast electricity demand and understand how changing conditions affect supply and demand across their service territories. It also enables scenario planning, allowing utilities to assess potential outcomes, such as how a significant temperature shift could affect future demand or battery dispatch.
